He is a well-recognize and prominent figure in the Indian Financial Services sector, known for his instrumental role in establishing two of India’s leading financial institutions, Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) and Credit Rating Information Services of India Limited (CRISIL).
Pradip’s contributions to the Indian Financial Services sector go beyond the establishment of HDFC and CRISIL, by means of his involvement in shaping policies, reforms, and regulatory frameworks, promoting the growth and stability of the financial system in India.
He is the former Chairman of Pfizer India, a former senior advisor to the World Bank, and sits on the boards of multiple other corporations of repute.
Pradip Shah holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is also a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant and ranked first in India in the Chartered Accountancy Examination.
