Dr. Ram Ramdas
Ram brings over three decades of experience across mathematics, applied research, enterprise technology, and FinTech entrepreneurship. A mathematician by training with a PhD in Fuzzy Logic from the Indian Institute of Science, he began his career in academia before moving into advanced research and systems thinking roles at TCS and Cordys, where he led product strategy and pioneering work in collaborative commerce and cybernetics.
He founded WonderLend Hubs in 2016, a FinTech platform focused on expanding credit access for India’s next 500 million consumers and MSMEs. Under Ram’s leadership, the company has built digital lending infrastructure powered by alternate data, machine decisioning, and the “Bharat Credit Stack,” enabling frictionless, high-volume secured and unsecured lending through B2B2C models. WonderLend Hubs also introduced SEP—an alternate data–driven socio-economic profiling framework designed to reimagine credit assessment for new-to-credit and underserved customers.
Prior to WonderLend, Ram founded Herald Logic, an enterprise solutions company serving BFSI clients and large distribution networks with real-time process and decisioning platforms. He has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at IIT Bombay and has engaged in public leadership through the Lok Satta movement, advocating for transparent and accountable governance.
Ram holds MSc and PhD degrees in Mathematics, and remains driven by a long-standing mission to simplify complexity through technology-led innovation and scalable, user-centric design.
